Video Production
Video Production Company in Los Angeles, CA
When your brand's reputation is on the line, a one-off freelance shoot isn't always enough. Commercials, product campaigns, and branded content need a team that can plan, light, shoot, and finish a project at a professional level, with the space and equipment to back it up.
Jackpot Syndicate is a full-service video production company based in El Segundo, serving brands and businesses across Los Angeles. We run our own studio facility, keep a deep inventory of cinema-grade gear in-house, and bring a crew that handles every stage of production, from concept to final cut.
Below, you'll find a look inside our studio facility and gear, the types of productions we support, how a production company compares to hiring a freelancer, our recent client work, and pricing.
Inside Our Studio Facility
Our studio isn't just four walls and gear. It's a flexible, fully equipped production environment where your team can shoot, record, and create without renting multiple locations or hauling in equipment.
Broadcast Recording Studio
With 16 channels of clean A/D conversion, a premium mic locker, full mixing and mastering capabilities, and live broadcast support, our Broadcast Recording Studio ensures your video sounds as good as it looks.
Paintable Cyc Stage
The paintable cyc stage gives productions a seamless, customizable backdrop for clean, polished visuals.
24 x 36 ft wide with 14 ft ceilings
Pre-rigged lighting grid
Ideal for music videos, commercials, and content creation
VO Booth
Our sound-treated isolation booth handles clean voiceover, narration, and ADR, so audio post-production can happen under the same roof as the shoot.
Sound Stage
Our sound stage is the backbone of the facility, built for commercials, branded content, and productions that need room to move. It's ready to go when you are, with controlled sound and lighting from the moment you walk in.
Lounge Area and Kitchen
Clients, crew, and talent can relax and recharge between takes in our comfortable lounge. The fully equipped kitchen is always camera-ready, making it a ready-made set for culinary, tabletop, and lifestyle shoots.
Having the stage, the gear, and the crew in one place is what separates a production company from an independent shooter. Fewer moving parts means fewer surprises, tighter schedules, and a more consistent final product.
Gear & Backline
Productions have access to drums, guitars, amps, synths, and pro audio gear, plus lighting modifiers, stands, and seamless backdrops. An in-house engineer is also available when you need one.
À La Carte Gear Rental
Rent only what your production needs, with no bundled markup. Our à la carte menu includes:
Cinema and creator cameras from ARRI, RED, Blackmagic, Sony, and Canon
Prime and zoom lenses in EF and PL mount
Full lighting kits, modifiers, stands, and RGB setups
Audio kits, grip gear, and production add-ons
What You Can Create Here

Commercials for broadcast, streaming, and digital ad campaigns
Branded content that tells your company's story and builds trust with your audience
Product shoots, including motion control photography and video
Social media campaigns built for YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and beyond
Music videos with the stage space and lighting to match the artist's vision
Motion graphics and animation for web, mobile, and video
Sound design, ADR, and audio post-production
Self-Shoot or Full-Crew Productions
Every project is different, and so is every team. Bring your own crew and use our space and gear, or hand the entire production to us. Whether you need a stage for the day or a full team from concept to delivery, we're flexible, not precious.
Freelancer vs. Production Company
Many businesses start their search by asking whether they should hire an independent videographer or a full production company. Freelancers can be a great fit for simple, single-camera shoots. When the project carries real stakes for your brand, here's how the two typically compare:
| Factor | Independent Freelancer | Jackpot Syndicate |
|---|---|---|
| Crew Depth | Often one person handling camera, audio, and lighting | A full team across production, audio, editing, and motion design |
| Equipment Access | Limited to personal gear | In-house cinema cameras, lenses, lighting, grip, and pro audio |
| Studio Space | Usually requires renting a separate location | Sound stage, cyc stage, recording studio, and VO booth on-site |
| Reliability | A single point of failure if someone gets sick or gear breaks | Backup crew and equipment keep your shoot on schedule |
| Post-Production | Often outsourced or limited in scope | Editing, color, sound design, and motion graphics in-house |
| Scalability | Best suited for small, one-off projects | Built for multi-day shoots, campaigns, and recurring content |
If you're producing a single short clip on a tight budget, a freelancer may be all you need. If you're launching a campaign, shooting a commercial, or building a library of brand content, a production company gives you the depth, consistency, and accountability to get it right the first time.
Matsuda Eyewear: Motion Control Product Campaign
Using the precision of a MILO motion control rig, this three-day shoot brought the entire Matsuda eyewear line to life on a sculptural bust crafted by a local artist. The production captured both daylight and nighttime atmospheres, showcasing the glasses in dynamic, cinematic lighting scenarios. The result was a seamless fusion of artisan design, innovative robotics, and timeless style.
